Gallery Satori says…

With the UN forecasting that 50% of the world's population will reside in mega-cities by 2050, Gallery Satori's inaugural exhibition, Unreal City, presents 12 artists from three continents reflecting on urban living. Stephanie Costello's drawing Obstacletown navigates a jumbled mass of scaffolding and interwoven infrastructure, while Aurora Robson's Spur, a sculpture made from recyclables and sun-powered LEDs, addresses the massive scale of energy consumption and waste generation that occurs in big cities — a tendency shared by the humble atom. Of course, New York is a megalopolis like no other, so if you're wondering about its effect on your stress level, creative output, caffeine intake, or psyche, perhaps Gallery Satori can shed some light.
