Hosted by St. Mark's Bookshop, these biweekly readings spotlight Continuum's beloved 33 1/3 series, an ambitious project that unearths the stories behind famous LPs. Musician and academic Franklin Bruno reads from Elvis Costello: Armed Forces, an A-to-Z analysis of the classic Costello album. Other books from the series include Magnetic Fields' 69 Love Songs: A Field Guide, on which one of the album's guest musicians examines the epic three-CD album; and Elizabeth Vincentelli's poptastic tribute Abba's Abba Gold.
