Crime writer Raymond Chandler's dialogue, Mexican cantatas, and digital vaudeville all come into play in Sintroca's new production, Lasanta. In keeping with the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator's penchant for unorthodox performances, Lasanta employs puppetry, double-cast actors, and projected images, in an examination of the "aura, sensuality, duplicity, artifice, and mystery of women." Expect French-Canadian influences, religious allusions, and a healthy dose of burlesque, all accompanied by live music courtesy of Lady Lucille.
