Solar One has plenty of panel discussions and workshops to help you shrink your carbon footprint, but the real highlight here is Saturday's outdoor music fest. Avant-garde NYC percussionists So Percussion headline, with support from wailer Shilpa Ray (of Beat the Devil) and Her Happy Hookers, as well as dueling guitarists Ecstatic Sunshine. Last year, Les Savy Fav set the bar high when frontman Tim Harrington commandeered a parked van midway through the set — we can only assume that this year's jam sesh will be similarly raucous. If you're not sated by Saturday's tunes, come back on Sunday with your electric bill, so you can sign up for green energy and score free beer all day.
