Note: The ferry to Governors Island departs from the Battery Maritime Building every 30 minutes during the festival.
FIGMENT is a nonprofit, ad-free festival set in the wild landscape of Governors Island, located just 800 yards off the southern tip of Manhattan. The city's skyline becomes a piece of art itself, as revelers explore interactive sculptures, community-building games, and participatory experiments. The Action Arts League hosts a mid-festival fundraiser in support of NYC's artistic heritage and culture.
