Sadly, sightings of the esteemed British DJ/producer Andrew Weatherall on this side of the Atlantic are becoming increasingly rare. On his last few trips to NYC, he packed his sets with carefully curated post-punk and disco (similar to his Nine O'Clock Drop compilation) that pleased many and showed off his wide-ranging tastes. The diversity also may have left true beat-addicts pining for his harder sounds. But don't worry — for this party, Weatherall brings a big box of techno records.
