On this side of the Atlantic, the Young Knives often get lost in the shuffle of UK post-post punk (Futureheads, Kaiser Chiefs, the Rakes, etc). It's a shame, since the Oxford trio has continued to churn out cheeky tunes (not to mention an awesome cover of Adam Ant's "Stand & Deliver") since bursting onto the scene in '02. With no signs of lagging, the Knives now hit the road in support of their latest, Superabundance. Featuring four young, bright musicians, local openers the Postelles play wide-eyed '60s pop. They might not have the greatest music vids (yet), but who needs Flash when you've got a killer live show?
