When art imitates art fairs, the layers of irony are just too rich. Anna Kustera has converted her spacious gallery into an information center designed by artist provocateur Ju$t Another Rich Kid and a VIP room featuring Alix Pearlstein's 60-minute video program about posturing and posing. The collection of work on view was chosen by several dozen galleries from around the world, each of which paid $100 per square foot to exhibit in exhibit in The World's Smallest Art Fair. To make matters stranger, the exhibition itself takes place in the 72-square-foot front window, and each gallery is allotted only one square foot of its own. Talk about maximizing your retail frontage.
