Music: Punk/Metal F Yeah Fest feat. Circle Jerks, Dillinger Four, Matt & Kim, Team Robespierre, Monotonix, and Japanther

While a drum-and-keyboard combo may seem small on paper, food-fighting duo Matt & Kim's giddy alt-punk is bigger than it has any right to be. Their live act has moved from its natural habitat of sweaty, jam-packed house parties to clubs and, more recently, outdoor festivals, but M&K's intimate vibe and sense of personal politics remain intact. Tonight, the NYC crew meets up with riffalicious rockers Monotonix in the local incarnation of one-time LA institution the F Yeah Fest. What follows is an old-school hardcore smackdown, as Dillinger Four hammer out the way for a reincarnation of old-school Cali-punks Circle Jerks.
