Performing Arts: Comedy The Apple Sisters

Fireside chats ain't got nothing on the Apple Sisters. Spoofing WWII-era radio programs, the Apple girls sing and dance their way through a boisterous variety show celebrating the wonders of corn, cigarettes, and (of course) war, employing a tongue-in-cheek mix of patriotic naiveté and gut-churning sight gags. Performing weekly at the People's Improv Theater, the Sisters have quickly garnered a long list of rave reviews, after performances at the Montreal Comedy Festival and the Chicago Sketchfest. Come see Cora, Candy, and Seedy as they turn the PIT into a 1943 soundstage and give Uncle Sam a proper salute.
