Film Baghead

Directed and written by mumblecore hotshots (if such a concept isn't a total oxymoron) the Duplass Brothers, Baghead is a meta-movie about a pair of failing LA actors who repair to the woods with two lady friends to brainstorm a queasy homage to Blair Witch Project that entails — you guessed it — a villain with a bag on his head. To be sure, this film has all the makings of a really annoying venture, and some may never be convinced of its charms. But the line between fiction and reality blurs enough to truly frighten, and the relentless honesty that has come to characterize this film movement never once flags.
