Never mind the well-trod theme of Larry Keigwin's latest dance opus, elements — the choreographer's work is anything but conventional. The prolific Keigwin's productions can be witty (an ode to Starbucks dependency), touching (one mattress, multiple possibilities), or wholly unexpected (a 100-plus cast of all skills and sizes). Each of elements' four sections was inspired by one of nature's basic building blocks: earth, fire, water, and air. Meanwhile, the production's musical repertory — encompassing Mozart, Eartha Kitt, and Devo — speaks to its widely varying moods and temperatures.
