In conjunction with MoMA's exhibition on the architectural experimentation that shaped the NYC skyline, curator, critic, and theorist Nader Vossoughian discusses the ideas that drove Rem Koolhaas, Peter Eisenman, Hans Hollein, and dozens of other influential architects to use Gotham City as their laboratory over the past four decades. Vossoughian, whose specialty is the intersection of politics and urban space, recently published a book on Austrian sociologist and economist Otto Neurath, and is an assistant professor of architecture at the New York Institute of Technology.
