It's hard enough to work your way up through the ranks of New York's DJ hierarchy, but making a name for yourself in the busy, highly opinionated techno hub of Detroit is another thing altogether. Mike Servito and DJ Shortround are long-respected figures from the Motor City scene — Servito as an eclectic selector and Shortround as a commercial-radio host and record-store buyer — who recently made the move to the Big Apple. Tonight, they represent their hometown sounds and bring an array of new tracks to the industrial splendor of Williamsburg.
