P.S. 122 says…

In Neal Medlyn's fourth musical parody, an off-kilter androgynous romp arranged by Obie-winner Kenny Mellman, the performer channels the artist formerly known as "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince." This fanciful, campy melodrama is replete with love, lust, betrayal, death, and resurrection — and a few dance numbers, set to live interludes of Purple Rain classics and b-sides. With Unpronouncable Symbol, Medlyn's appeal is destined to become only more cultish, following his highly trafficked Nerve web series Neal Medlyn's Land of Make Believe, a show that features a monkey puppet, two impassive cats, and other fantastical creatures dealing with distinctly human — and often profane — emotions.
