Valencia, Spain's Cof Cof sound like the hopeful lovechildren of Hot Chip and HEARTSREVOLUTION, moving effortlessly between electro beats, 8-bit bloops, and organic instrumentation with intimate, homespun style. Lead singer Ana Analogica's vocals recall disco chanteuses of old — especially on the cheeky single "My HDD is Broken." Continuing this certain-to-be-sweaty Annex bash is Greenville, South Carolina duo Culture Prophet, whose brand of electro is so gnarly, its bass has bass. CP's Dag Joe controls the heavy machinery while frontman Michael Barksdale gets amped and encourages audience participation.
