Luckily, some people resist the urge to burn every artifact from their Kurt Cobain shrine when they gain the self-awareness that comes with adulthood. The people behind Mortified have been excavating unintentional comedic gems from their closets since the '90s, the golden age of awkward adolescent self-expression. Tonight, some brave souls share recently uncovered poems, home videos, short stories, journal entries, and love letters from the days when they carried a tattered-but-unread copy of The Stranger and thought Morrissey was the greatest poet alive.
