The term "blog house" may have semantic limitations, failing to encompass the breadth of music-makers it purports to include, but it does describe the sounds of tonight's Été D'Amour party, hosted by French Interweb scribes FluoKids. Head Kid Pharrell spins amped-up electronique anthems, and adept remixers 33Hz, who have fiddled with tracks by the Teenagers and Architecture in Helsinki, perform their sleazily charming dance-funk originals live. Headliner Alan Braxe, who penned "Music Sounds Better with You" with Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter, proves that the French touch is alive and kicking with a set of wide-ranging disco house.
