A bunch of Snow Whites prancing around the Meatpacking District may not sound like the most appropriate centerpiece for a French dance festival, but after all, France does have Euro Disney. Catherine Baÿ's guerrilla dance performance, Snow White, is joined by three other spatially adventurous pieces as part of the French Institute Alliance Française's Crossing the Line festival: Christian Rizzo's Installation includes three premieres occupying different spaces in the same building; Ivana Müller's double-take-inducing show includes a live performance at Florence Gould Hall and a video at Dance Theater Workshop; and Dyptique is a double bill by Pascal Rambert and Rashid Ouramdane that is performed in separate spaces at P.S. 122.
