For those who have spent the summer looking longingly at club photos from Paris and wishing to experience that city's electro-house scene, the wait is over — Ed Banger artists Busy P and DJ Mehdi bring the Gallic ruckus stateside tonight. Now that label boss Busy P is no longer managing Daft Punk, he's got more time to finesse his skills on the ones and twos, laying down heavy bass assaults and reworked hip-hop classics. DJ Mehdi recently remixed tracks by Sam Sparro and Ghostface Killah, and his songs with girlfriend/street artist Fafi are just plain adorable. Mehdi gets hold of new releases especially quickly, so don't be surprised to hear buzzed-about electro jams.
