Documentarian Emily Abt focuses on Bronx doctor Mehret Mandefro, and two of her female African-American patients as they struggle to manage their HIV/AIDS diagnosis, their treatment, and their lives. African-American women make up 68% of new diagnoses, but make up only six percent of the country's population, so while AIDS in the US may have moved off the front page, it's still a real crisis and worthy of our attention. All of Us has a very limited run this week at Cinema Village, but you can also catch its premiere on World AIDS Day (December 1) on Showtime.
