Tere O'Connor Dance is not only inspired by contemporary architecture, but uses dance movements as shifting layers of architectural evidence — as in rammed-earth construction — to build this evening-length work. The audience is invited to "participate" in the making of the piece by assuming three different viewing positions during its duration, all the better to observe a slow but steady evolution as body gestures grow into movement phrases, which in turn accumulate into a complete dance work.
