If white-walled museums and galleries make you sleepy, tonight's live-art party is a welcome relief. Hosted by new West Village venue Poisson Rouge, the quarterly Art Battle is more street competition than exhibit. Watch six art battlers speed-paint their way to masterpieces, and get your dance on as Ninjasonic's DJ Teen Wolf spins a booty-heavy backdrop. When the stage is warm, Toronto psych-rock band AMIT play deliciously warped melodies from their recent Hello World EP, rounding off an exceptionally colorful evening.
