After its successful debut last year, Takeover is back at BAM. Sufjan Stevens hand-picked the lineup, which includes his former bandmate St. Vincent, Afrobeat fusionists Budos Band, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus singing the compositions of Nico Muhly, and gospel singer Naomi Shelton. Five Six Media founder King Britt and Vikter Duplaix DJ in the BAM Cafe, while movie marathons fill the cinemas. There's also a rec room with ping pong, guitar hero, and couches for the weary and over-stimulated. Three-dollar Magic Hat beer flows all night.
