Sultry songstress Nomi — you may recognize her pipes from DFA's Hercules and Love Affair — steps beyond the club circuit to belt out her own tunes, which blend elements of pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The always diva-friendly Zipper Factory, with wooden bleacher seats that are ideal for intimate crowds, lets the Brooklyn native lay down brazen, lustful siren songs from her upcoming release, Borough Gypsy.
