Wally Cardona and Rahel Vonmoos create an intimate hour-long piece that addresses the intricacies of finding and sustaining love in the modern age. The well-trod subject matter is given a bold twist, however, as the production is set to discussions of philosophers Immanuel Kant and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel led by BBC host Melvyn Bragg. Cardona and Vonmoos dance to the words, and their graceful movements and interactions illuminate the text while providing a visually engaging story of a couple searching for a deep connection. The words' tranquility is interrupted by rhythmic blasts from experimental Japanese drummer Shoji Hano and music by the Grammy-winning Mexican rockers Café Tacuba.
