Ah, how times change. Alt-performance mainstay Galapagos has moved to DUMBO, leaving its Williamsburg home to new owners who now call the joint Public Assembly. Thankfully, the new management knows how to book some serious parties, bringing the perpetually shirtless DJ Klever in from ATL to drop some turntablism and heavy bass bangers. Backing him up is Brooklyn's finest, DJ Ayres, whose '90s hip-hop joints, reggae jams, and house classics always seem to drop at just the right time. Fool's Gold head Nick Catchdubs and Trash Menagerie's girl-about-town Jubilee serve as supplemental selectors.
