If ever there was an act born for the decadent decor of South Street Seaport's Spiegelworld, it's the Citizens Band. The musical collective combines theatre, song, and spectacle in its original productions, featuring a rotating cast of singers, acrobats, and musicians. The group's latest show, The Panic Is On, has already enthralled audiences at Ars Nova and the Highline Ballroom, but it will never be more at home than in the cabaret-era Spiegeltent. Set in a wartime bunker, Panic's combination of classic staples and fresh compositions is performed by a cast including Karen Elson, Rain Phoenix, and Amy Miles, plus special guest (and Cardigans frontwoman) Nina Persson.
