The Dickies have been playing happy-go-lucky hardcore for over 30 years, making them one of punk's oldest bands. Known for their campy stage antics and hypersonic covers of classics like Black Sabbath's "Paranoid," the group's shows are still something of a spectacle (there's a reason its most recent release, The Dickies Go Bananas, is a live album). The band plays tonight alongside Ramones-loving punker Kitty Kowalski, former owner of St. Marks punk-rock outpost Coney Island High.
