Glasslands and food blogger Midge Pilkington have devised the perfect cure for the blue box blues — better mac & cheese through competition. Tonight's s'MACdown follows in the tradition of November's Ramen-Off, promising ingenious remixes of the classic impoverished college-student food. In keeping with the egalitarian nature of the dish, the winner of the competition is decided upon by popular vote. This, of course, means that admission to event includes both an incitement to stuff your face with the contestants, and a responsibility to dispatch your civic duty at the ballot box.
