Newmindspace, the Toronto/NYC-based flash-mobbers (pillow fight in Union Square, anyone?) and partiers extraordinaire have made a permanent move to New York. To celebrate — and raise funds for their massive, free throwdowns — they're hosting quite a loft party tonight. A slew of DJs (including B. Rich from Palms Out and Syd Gris, the head of Burning Man's largest sound camp) keeps kids and performance artists moving and grooving till dawn. Jason Eppink contributes some trippy light installations, while a huge roof and ample "chill-out spaces" offer a chance for respite. Or a smoke break.
