It took ten years and some creative thinking for the Greeks to defeat Troy. The six multitasking dancers of Company XIV accomplish the same feat in a fast-paced, fun-filled burlesque saluting Spartan temptress Helen of Troy. Director/choreographer Austin McCormick's imaginative choice of music, text, and dance styles merges so well because the backstory of this particular myth easily lends itself to any era. Here, a slow shadow dance symbolizes the Trojan War, as Helen is transported to a Parisian brothel, dancing a sensuous duet with Paris (the prince).
