Peter Coffin, the artist who flew a UFO over the Baltic Sea in summer 2008, takes over City Hall Park with a series of dark, monumental silhouettes of iconic sculptures. One-inch thick, eight-foot tall phantoms of Picasso's She Goat, Louise Bourgeois' Untitled (With Hand) and Rodin's The Thinker slip in and out of sight, like old, familiar memories briefly coming back to the surface. The sculptures populate the park for eight months, as part of the Public Art Fund's ongoing program, In the Public Realm.
