Renowned Italian company Balletto Teatro di Torino makes its New York debut with works by resident choreographer Matteo Levaggi. Performances are divided into two programs: the first consists of the evening-length Primo Toccare, a multimedia collaboration with visual artists Samantha Stella and Sergio Frazzingaro in which the dancers are placed in art installations that match the work's shifting mood; the second is a trilogy of eclectic pieces set to the equally eclectic music of Estonian composer Arvo Part, electronic group Autechre, industrial composer Mika Vainio, and Bach.
