Cut&Paste presents the ultimate event from its 2009 Digital Design Tournament with its first Global Championship. From an original pool of 256 competitors from around the world, 48 city champs of 2D, 3D, and motion design square off tonight in front of you, the audience. Presenting "design as spectator sport," the championship projects contestants' designs on large-scale displays as they race against the clock to compete for the grand prize. Judges include creative directors and designers from Core77.com, Anomoly, 55DSL, and the Brand New School; and the whole thing gets a soundtrack courtesy of Cosmo Baker.
