Vashti Bunyan has been called "the Godmother of Freak Folk" (NY Press) for her role in inspiring "a new generation of folk experimentalists including Devendra Banhart and Adem." (The Guardian) At 92YTribeca, she joins us for a screening of the new feature documentary directed by Kieran Evans calledVashti Bunyan: From Here To Before that retraces Bunyan's journey across the British Isles and sets it against the backdrop of her first high profile London concert. She then graces our main stage in a rare NYC performance. An event not to be missed.
