Halloween is getting started early this year with Socrates Sculpture Park's glam rock-themed festivities. Head to Queens early today and dress up as your favorite star with a free costume-making session and Transformation! Facepainting by Agostino Arts; then channel their spirit for the Giant Instrument Jam. The real stars of the afternoon, however, are the actors in the Red Door Theatre Company's special outdoor performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. As another treat, there's the sixth-annual Canine Costume Contest and its parade of adorable.
