Ars Nova's ANT Fest gives artists from every imaginable discipline a chance to show off their stuff. Nothing much is sacred about the 32 festival offerings: check out the cat-lover spoof A Trail to Lions, and laugh at red-state motor-sport rituals in One Night with Rael. The unlikely combination of an iconic NPR program and a former governor/future bestselling "author" are targeted in This American Strife, while Endurance combines the survival stories of Ernest Shackleton's 1914 journey to Antarctica with a Hartford insurance salesman coping with the economic downturn.
