After a long and successful run on Broadway, Avenue Q makes a smooth transition to its new home at New World Stages with the help of a charming and talented cast culled from the Broadway production and national tour. In their capable voices, the songs remain fresh and funny as ever. Anika Larsen (the only principal character not in a previous incarnation of the show) is an absolute comic revelation as Kate Monster, and it feels as though she's been doing the show for years.
