Well before Drew Barrymore's Whip It! made a splash in theaters, the Gotham Girls Roller Derby was ripping up the track. With a predilection for tats and fishnets, these ladies — many former champs in hockey and figure/roller skating — play a fierce game that combines speed, agility, strategy, and some old-fashioned pushing and shoving. This post-season doubleheader pits Seattle's Rat City Sockit Wenches against NYC's own Queens of Pain and Brooklyn Bombshells.
