Little Shop of Horrors
Saturday Oct 24, 2009 (11pm–1am)
$13
“The 92Y Tribeca's intimate theater — more akin to a private screening room than a multiplex — is the perfect place to indulge in a little late-night cinematic karaoke. Tonight's feel-good 80's cult classic about a certain bloodsucking plant should help you get ready for Halloween; expect the energetic audience to be festively dressed. Howard Ashman's playfully sinister screenplay and Alan Menken's doo-wop infused score guarantee a good time. Get there early for trivia, and be sure to pick up your free beer on the way in.”
Part of our Sing-Along series.

Tribeca may be a far cry from the Skid Row of Little Shop of Horrors, but you can still head downtown and cheer on everyone's favorite nerd Rick Moranis as down-on-his-luck Seymour, as he encounters a crazed dentist (played by Steve Martin), tries to win the heart of Audrey, and battles a blood-sucking alien plant. Sing along with Audrey II as he bellows "Feed Me" and pour your soul into a rendition of "Suddenly Seymour." And because we're not fond of drinking blood like Audrey II, we've included a beer as part of the ticket price.
Host Raven Snook will start out the night with trivia & prizes. As always, costumes are encouraged!
