LA-based painter, designer, and merchandising genius Gary Baseman curates a crowded group show on the topic of individual identity. His thematic premise is deceptively simple: he asked 40-plus artists to represent themselves in any way but the traditional self-portrait, saying, "They might imagine themselves as anyone or anything — a wolf, a cupcake, a mermaid, even a skyscraper." Along with Baseman himself, expect brand new sweetheart pieces from artists including lowbrow luminaries and A-list taggers, starting with Christian Clayton, Eric White, Friends with You, Luke Chueh, Martha Rich, Orly Cogan, Mike Shinoda, and Ron English.
