If Hollywood is a machine, its most prolific mechanic has to be Roger Corman. He's worked in more genres and discovered more talent than most directors have made films. And just in time for Halloween, the Anthology Film Archives groups together his Edgar Allen Poe projects that feature the most soothing voice in horror, Vincent Price. If that's not enough schlock to fill your Corman kettle, Anthology's throwing in some of his other classics, including Peter Fonda cementing his motorcycle man image three years before Easy Rider with Wild Angels, and a very un-Kirk William Shatner as a Southern racist in The Intruder.
