For the visual component of its seminal Next Wave Festival, BAM opens its studio spaces to exhibit new work by some of Brooklyn's most exciting emerging artists. This year's Next Wave Art Festival is curated by Dan Cameron — formerly of the New Museum, and currently in New Orleans working as director of visual art at the CAC on Prospect 1 — with selections by Paolo Arau, Alison Brady, Angela Dufresne, Diana Al-Hadid, Echo Eggebrecht, Nicola Lopez, Ester Partegas, and Christopher Ulivo, among others.
