The writers behind Sex and the City have abandoned NYC for small-town Iowa in their newest project, Cedar City Falls: a Mid-West Conflict, an eight-episode live theatrical soap opera produced with Labyrinth Theater Company. Cedar City Falls covers a lot of territory in one hour, moving briskly between romantic entanglements, neighborly feuds, paranormal hauntings, and even livestock doping. Don't worry if you missed the previous week's installment: each episode begins with a brief recap of the series' events to date. Each week brings a different guest star, from series such as Mad Men and Law & Order, and best of all, box-office proceeds are donated to a rotating roster of human rights charities.
