The Metropolitan Museum of Art says…

In this one-day conference that is open to the public, leading international scholars discuss topics related to the exhibition Augustus Saint-Gaudens in The Metropolitan Museum of Art (on view now through November 15). This exhibition evaluates the artist’s groundbreaking role in the history of late 19th-century American sculpture and the Aesthetic Movement. The symposium begins at 10 a.m. in the Met's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium.
