Gutai: A “Concrete” Discussion of Transnationalism
Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum says:
The Gutai Art Association was founded to “present concrete (gutai-teki) proof that our spirit is free.” Yoshihara Jiro’s dissemination of this radical experimentalism to the international art world forms the basis for this discussion.
