See the presentation before it closes on Wednesday! Take part in this long-established yuletide tradition in New York and see the Christmas tree and Neapolitan Baroque crèche at the Met, on view for the holiday season through January 6, 2010. The brightly lit, 20-foot blue spruce is adorned with 18th-century Neapolitan angels and cherubs among its branches and realistic crèche figures surrounding the Nativity scene at its base–with recorded Christmas music in the background and daily lighting ceremonies.
