American Beauty unveils the beauty within — within form, that is. The art of dressmaking yields great insight into the philosophy of beauty, and in the first exhibition of its kind, museum-goers benefit from a chic portrayal of the alliance between theory and practice. With 75 different looks by 25 American designers, ranging from Ralph Rucci to Rodarte to Valentina, this Charles B.
