“Carl Jung's recently unearthed Red Book (currently on view at the Rubin) is the inspiration for this tonight's event that delves into the dreams and fantasies of three lucky Flavorpill readers. Psychoanalyst John Beebe will interpret their subconscious desires, and help them understand all those messy human emotions in front of a live audience. Other participants in the series include Sarah Silverman, David Byrne, and Adam Gopnik — so you're in vaulted psycho-analyst companay. Be sure to check our Twitter @flavorpill_nyc for updates, and arrive early to take advantage of the Himalayan Happy Hour in the museum's K2 Lounge, and stay after the Dialogues for a free screening (with $7 bar minimum) of The Tales of Hoffman, introduced by three-time Oscar winner, Thelma Schoonmaker. If you want to be analyzed, live, send responses to the above questions to Leah, the Managing Editor of Flavorpill NYC.”
Three winners of Flavorpill's Red Book Dialogues competition will have their fantasies interpreted on stage by psychoanalyst John Beebe, drawing on C.G. Jung's Red Book for inspiration. If you want to participate, check out the questions below and email Leah, the Managing Editor of Flavorpill NYC.
The winners are actor Curt Hostetter, graphic design artist Viktoriya (Vika) Kovalchuk and musician Juano Lippi
